Biography
Jana began at Nature United in 2022, providing support for the Manitoba Program’s administrative work. The scope of her role includes managing grants and contracts, providing meeting support, drafting team communications, and assisting with the annual planning process.
Before this, she was working as a Policy Analyst for the Province of Manitoba in the Department of Families. She has a degree in Environmental Studies and Sciences from the University of Winnipeg, where she worked as a research assistant, supporting forest management work with Eagle Lake First Nation.
In the summer, she loves to go hiking and backcountry camping. She is also an avid traveller and has backpacked around the world, going to remote places, including Everest Base Camp.
